This year is focused on decreasing work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSD) across different industries to mitigate their long-term effects on the physical and mental health of Australians.

This year's initiative highlights the significance of WMSD prevention and early intervention to enhance spinal health and overall wellness for all employees, regardless of their work environment.

This November, we will be doing some exercises for our ankle and feet. We will start by strengthening the inside muscles part of the ankle. Once you start building strength we can move on to a more aggressive exercise for the ankle that also challenges your ability to balance to enhance further its capacity and resilience!

Let's start off with Ankle Eversion - this is a great way to strengthen the muscles of your ankle, specifically the peroneals to prepare you for the next exercise.

Once you feel stronger, we can move on to Standing Ankle Alphabet Mobility Exercise - this exercise can build further strength, mobility and functionality of your ankle by challenging you to balance in space while being able to move your foot!
