SPINAL HEALTH WEEK

This year, National Spinal Health Week will take place on 26 May - 1 June 2025, with a focus on the theme of neck pain.

The 2025 campaign is ‘Heads Up on Tech Neck' , specifically Tension Neck Syndrome, or 'tech neck', a rapidly growing condition linked to poor posture and the prolonged or incorrect use of electronic devices.

This May, we will be doing some bodyweight strengthening exercises for our back muscles and shoulder delts. We will start by targeting our back, specifically the latissimus dorsi muscle. From there, we will move into another exercise targeting our shoulder, specifically the delts.

Let's start off with Thread the Needle - this is a great way to strengthen the latissimus dorsi muscle.

Once you start to warm up, we can move on to Shoulder Circles - this exercise can strengthen your shoulder delt muscles.
